Mixed Media artist that use to work on paper, using collage and drawing, in diferents formats

His academic training was developed mainly within the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of La Laguna, Tenerife, Canary Islands, complemented by a year of stay at the École de Beaux Arts de Toulousse, France (1993-1994). Likewise, he was the only Spaniard who was part of the exclusive cast of young artists who managed to access the Hoger Instituut voor Schone Kunsten in Antwerp, to which he was linked from 1996 to 1998. After establishing his definitive residence on the island of Gran Canaria in 2006, he progressively abandons the three-dimensional inquiries with ephemeral materials that were seen in the previous decade, and turns to recover the use of color and line in traditional formats, almost always having the paper as a common link, either as a support, format or compositional element through the use of collage. As of 2015 his trips outside the island multiply, coming into contact with artists and exhibition projects that are interested in his work, as a result of which he participates in the German art fair ARTMUC in Munich, Bavaria. The human figure becomes a key part of his discourse, developing a research line that runs -taking himself as a reference- around the multiplicity of egos and their personalities, building daily scenes on paper and plastic that are broken up to return to be part of new compositions that bypass the initial figuration and respond to aesthetic intentions that were not initially in his imagination. He currently combines his teaching job with his studio and the management of the MT art space.

Since he began his final stage in his degree, he has devoted himself to production as a plastic creator, becoming part of numerous exhibition projects on the island of Tenerife and Gran Canaria as a Canarian artist of the generation of the 90s. Likewise, his work has been recognized with several awards and prizes, among which the Honor Award of the Regional Biennial of Plastic Arts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in 2002 stands out.
