Milena Bini

In 1994 she won the first prize for painting at the Artestrasse (Bs) exhibition. Her free spirit and her desire to experiment take her out of the stereotyped context of the LABA. Free Academy of Fine Arts of Brescia and leaves for a missionary experience in Brazil, where she creates murals in an orphanage. Since 2004 she began a path that led her to range in different artistic fields, from painting to sculpture, up to the short film, following courses in oil painting (her first passion) watercolor, drawing with live models, sculpture and decoration at various schools: the Liceo Artistico Caravaggio (BS) and the Olivieri of Sarezzo, the school of "Arts and Crafts" Ricchino of Rovato, the AAB. Brescian Artists Association and follows a path "art as a cure for the body and soul" at the Museum of Santa Giulia in Brescia. In 2007 and 2008 he exhibited at the AAB. In 2008 they are donated on the occasion of the artistic review of the centenary of Olivetti of his chalk drawings on wood made on site and exhibited at the Olivetti Museum in Ivrea (To), a watercolor is on permanent display at the Museum Lechi Montichiari (Bs) always in 2008 illustrates a story for the Telethon Foundation. In 2012 he participates in the video Caregiver for the ASL of Brescia with a chalk drawing on board and participates in the exhibition Creazioni di Terracotta with the installation "ligthness" at the Monastery of S. Pietro in Lamosa, in Provaglio d'Iseo (Bs), where he exhibits several times from 2013 to 2016, on the occasion of sculpture exhibitions. In 2014 one of his sculptures depicting the Moon is left on permanent exhibition at the Astronomical Observatory "Serafino Zani" in Lumezzane (Bs). In December 2016 he realizes on commission three ceramic sculptures for the award ceremony of the international exhibition of Bolzano Interpoma. In 2017 he exhibits his sculptures at the Quistini Castle in Rovato (Bs) and his installation Catch diversity at the new Milanese restaurant of the famous TV chef Alessandro Borghese: AB. The luxury of simplicity , also in 2018 and 2019; in 2018 she is exhibited at Villa Fiordaliso in Gardone Riviera (Bs), at Albereta, in Franciacorta and at Fuori Salone in Milan, during Design Week. In 2019 one of his apples is a finalist in the Artbox Project Miami 2.0 competition. In 2020 he wins Contemporary Art Curator Magazine's Artist of the Future award. In the same year he exhibits at the AISM Charity Competition. Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association and one of his works is donated to ASST Franciacorta and permanently exhibited in the lobby of its hospital, the hospital "Mellino Mellini" of Chiari (Bs), for an initiative curated and organized by the gallery Colossi Arte Contemporanea of Brescia. Also in 2020 he exhibits on the occasion of the bipersonal Milena Bini & Jason Engelbart at the Artobox gallery in Zurich and the exhibition Andy Warhol and Friends at the Mazzoleni Foundation in Alzano Lombardo (Bg). In February 2021 she takes part to the competition Art Now and she is selected for a collective exhibition in Palermo at the Effetto Arte gallery, in April she is present at the exhibition "Vittoria alata musa contemporanea" organized by Colossi Arte. In the same year she exhibits some sculptures of apples in the prestigious Hotel Cipriani in Venice. The artist exhibits in art galleries in Italy and abroad, is present in major national and international contemporary art exhibitions, such as Artbox Project Miami 2.0., Swiss Art Expo, Artefiera Bologna, Art Verona, Art Padova, BAF. Bergamo Arte Fiera, Milano Art Fair.
