  • About the Artist

Born in 1992, Mathilde Lestiboudois lives and works in Paris.

She graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where she attended the workshop of Jean-Michel Alberola.

She also studied at the Universitäte der Kunste (Berlin) in 2016.

She recently exhibited at the Galerie du jour (agnes b), the Galerie Graf Notaires and at the inaugural exhibition of La Fab.

Through the medium of painting, Mathilde Lestiboudois represents empty interior spaces. Interweaving architectural fragments, objects and geometric shapes, she questions space and its temporal dimension.

Thus, she constructs non-places, mental spaces, which oscillate between real and imaginary, between figuration and abstraction.
