Marie Line Robert is a painter born in France and who is self-taught. She has always been attracted to painting but it was more particularly in 2006 and following breast cancer that this great passion really imposed itself on her. She loves everything about painting: brushes, knives, coatings and materials. Painting is a real joy for her but also an outlet. She often paints in a semi-abstract style to leave room for everyone's sensations and imagination. Marie-Line Robert works in oil with a brush and knife to have more substance and spontaneity. She flourishes in working with materials which allows her to express her perception of shapes and colors. The artist is particularly sensitive to the intensities of reds and deep blues. The abstract has always spoken to her, but she also loves painting large seaside landscapes. For ten years now, she has been driven by the taste of moving people through her works and letting imaginations freely receive her paintings.
