Marie Anne Decamp is a French artist born in 1973 who lives and works in Chambly in Oise in Picardy, near Paris. She belongs to the expressionist movement. She is referenced via the AKOUN site. She regularly exhibits her work at local artistic events: L'Isle Adam, Beaumont-sur-Oise, Parmain, St Witz or Beauvais in Val d'Oise and Oise but also in Paris: Expo4art in Le Marais, La Fabrique Contemporary, in Europe: Milan, Genova, Venice, Alicante or Madrid and in the US: Miami, Los Angeles and Laguna Beach. She regularly exhibits her work in contemporary art fairs such as Art3f with the Van Gogh Art Gallery, RED DOT MIAMI 2022 with the Artifact gallery as well as the LA ARTSHOW in Los Angeles, California. Inspired by many extended trips abroad, notably New Zealand where she likes particularly or Southern California, Marie Anne Decamp sometimes needs to travel to boost up and renew herself in her art. Her painting expresses a universe that mixes authenticity, the interpretation of the binary side of the societal present symbolized by the lyrical aspect with a geometric character of the motifs. A personal, contextual vision where aesthetics is tinged, moreover, with a spirituality reflecting love and freedom, to which is added the presence of mineral and colored textures, very visual. Marie Anne who paints with high quality acrylics (Sennelier), adds mortars and textures, sometimes even a finish with oil paint. She uses spatulas, brushes and knives to paint on quality canvases for renderings with vibrant colors and exceptional texture. The Artifact gallery in Manhattan, New York as well as the galerie bruno massa based in Paris, Seoul and Tbilisi present the work of Marie Anne throughout the year. Her work invites us to contemplation, reflection and introspection in the face of unique, inspiring and spiritual works. She is also invested in the creation of extraordinary NFTs via Opensea and the galerie bruno massa.
