He started his studies in Advertising Graphics and later he graduated in Scenography for Cinema TV and Theater at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera. Only after his degree he began to devote himself to painting in the traditional way, approaching pure self-taught material. He lives and works in Milan.
He likes to call himself a "Pop Raphaelite": his figurative language provides for the extrapolation from the original context of themes and subjects proper to the ancient tradition such as myth, epic, classical literature, and then relocating them to the contemporary, proposing a fusion with the images of today's glamor and advertising visual, within an alchemical process of image and color. The aim is to give life to urban pop poster icons, born from a stratification of ideas, contents and matter, to create the snapshot of a "manifesto" that wants to fix a renewed communicative nature of the myth in the present.
