Artist Statement

What do we do with our past? How do we remember it? How do we think about the future? When does the future begin? The real and the fiction What role does the photographic image play? I am interested in working on the passing of time. Inquiring into memory and how we hierarchize our memories by denying some and altering others. From photographs or digitally manipulated file images, I intend to cross times. Generate a no time, a time another. A time of no time. The images of the past, the future and memories fill our memory in a present that does not end up being yesterday or tomorrow
