  • About the Artist

Maïlys Lamotte-Paulet is a visual artist born in 1992. She who lives and works in Paris.

Graduated with the Congratulations of the jury of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts in Paris in 2018 (Anne Rochette workshop).

Laureate of the Marguerite and Keskar Method Prize in 2019.
In 2017, she went to New York to study at the Cooper Union School of the Art.

In 2019, she is in charge of curating an exhibition cycle within the Laboratoire de la Création (Paris 01) as well as coordinating an artistic residency for young artists.

Supported by the Régnier Fund for Creation to organize her first personal exhibition. In December 2020, she joined the collective workshop Chez Kit in Pantin.

His work mixes installations, sculptures and ready-made.

His inspirations range from the authoritarian administrative universe to the city and its suburbs through the surveillance imagery of exhibition sites.
