Luca Moscariello

Born in San Giovanni in Persiceto (Bo) in 1980, he lives and works in Sala Bolognese. 
His works induce the eye to penetrate the pictorial forms, inviting the viewer to a careful reading, in order to deduce distinctly the visual misunderstanding that is hidden within a perimeter in which different levels of image construction are grafted. Deception refers to a reflection on the current state of contemporaneity that, due to the overload of stimulations, has disaccustomed the eye to curiosity, preventing it from penetrating the blanket that surrounds our everyday life. In the attempt to re-educate to the vision, the warning that the artist addresses to the public is to distrust the normal sensory faculties, requiring an effort in order to project the gaze beyond the pictorial scaffolding. The development of the perceptive game - assumed as an approach of investigation - has marked the path of Moscariello since the beginning, reaching the point of stripping the narrative component to probe the potential of the pictorial medium.
