Born in Penne (Pe) in 1983, Lorenzo Di Lucido gets his diploma in Visual Art at Academy og fine arts in BolognaIn 2013 he’ s invited by Andrea Bruciati to take part in a residency program “ Painting Practices “ in Nogaredo, Udine. In 2014 he won the Marina di Ravenna prize and took part in the exhibition of winners at the MAR space in Ravenna. In 2014, together Giovanni Blanco inaugurated in the Far Rimini museum “because of the shadows”. In 2017 he inaugurates his solo
show at Yellow artist-run space entitled "isn't it because we cultivate the mists?" edited by Claudia Contu and with an essay by Claudio Salvi. In 2018 he inaugurates his latest solo show at the
Francesco Siracusa space entitled “The surface of time”. From the beginning, he started thinking on the surface as a room in which things are placed, or as a landscape to know step by step. He paints and repaints the same surface several times, he never has an established project. In recent years he has focused more on the light and the matter of which the paintings are made.
