Kathrin Linkersdorff (1966) originally trained and worked as an architect before studying photography with Robert Lyons. During a multi-year stay in Japan she developed a strong fascination for Japanese culture and art, both of which she draws on heavily in her artistic practice. She is represented by Galerie Springer Berlin and Purdy Hicks Gallery, London.
