Born in Marseille in the 80s, Karo Art have always been passionate about art and music. Influenced by artists like P.Soulage, A.Warhol, JM.Basquiat, G.Klimt, S.Fairey and many others.
Her project today is to recycle old jewels, fabrics, tapestries, posters, objects... that are dear to her heart, and to make them live a new story by including them in her paintings.
A mixture of nostalgia and moods staged and colored on canvas, boxes or other supports.
This collection has music as a common thread, each work refers to a song, you can find in some of her paintings excerpts of lyrics that inspire her at the time of creating the painting. A way for her to express different memories.
Several techniques and materials are used: Collage / Aerosol / Acrylic / Oil paint / Epoxy resin / Posca / Grey pencil / Pastel fat or dry
