Joel Brandenberger was born in 1952, in a small village in Zurich's Weinland, Switzerland. He spent numerous years working as a computer engineer in diverse roles and fields. However, about 14 years ago, he changed his life, transitioning into a full-time painter. He specialized mainly in oil paintings, focusing on themes that revolve around a profound appreciation for the awe-inspiring and monumental aspects of nature. His works also delve into universal human emotions, exploring themes such as loneliness, joy, mystical experiences, and more.
Currently, he is an active member of a painters' association in Winterthur and dedicates his creative efforts to his studio in Au ZH.
