Jair Leal was born in Mexico in 1976, studied drawing, sculpture, serigraphy and painting. Dedicated to his artistic project since 1995, he has worked as an art director in assorted movies in Mexico and Spain. He has studied under important artists like Antonio López García, Daniel Quintero, Gabriel Macotela, Romeo Galdámez among many others. His artworks have been acquired by collectors from Mexico, Spain and France.
Jair’s artistic project revolves around portraits of his closest environment, always under the premises of social dissidence.
