Isabelle Scottu was born on 10 September 1972 in Lille. A painter since 2019, she is inspired by a thirst for creativity and spontaneous art. Self-taught, her love of painting is undoubtedly inherited from her paternal grandmother, who left her a legacy of canvases she had been observing since childhood... Isabelle Scottu teaches Spanish in secondary schools in the north of France. She has developed a sensitivity at the crossroads of cultures and languages, between the Spanish she teaches and the Sardinian heritage of her family. This personal path, nourished by the internalized landscapes of her history, is rich in colour, in sensations encountered in contact with the elements, water, light, earth, a source of inspiration for her painting built on volumes that catch the eye and play with colour and light. The material that emerges from her paintings takes us on a personal journey to explore our own emotions. Each of her paintings is an invitation to an inner journey.
