Irene López León

Irene Lopez Leon is a  painter and muralist born in Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona. She is known for artworks that blend the figurative and the abstract concepts within a vibrant play of color. Her paintings aim to reinvent classical elements through a contemporary perspective, resulting in a fusion between the traditional and the modern.

Her initial forays into painting were on the streets, which led her to experiment with mural art. 

These paintings explores different themes, from the richness of nature and landscapes, to local customs represented by contemporary still life composed of popular iconography.
