  • About the Artist

Russian artist based in Saint-Petersburg, a member of National Artist's Union of Russia. Was born in Lagan, Kalmykia, Russia in 1982. Inna Sandzhi-Goryaeva is graduated from Astrakhan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in 2004. She studied graphics also as construction economics. In 2011 artist moved to Sochi, Russia, and studied oilpainting at studio "Red square" by  Oleg  Korchagin, member of the Union of Russian artists. In 2014 she successfully completed the course on history of art "Live!: Art history for artists, animators, and gamers" at California Institute of the arts (CalArts), Valencia, CA, USA. Inna was awarded with Russian President's medal for contribution to the construction and organization of the XXII Winter Olympic Games in 2014. She published a coloring book "Sochi views" in 2018. Artist also has diploma as an English language translator. She is a participant of the "Cultural initiative/leadership in creative industries" program at the British higher school of art&design with a project of contemporary art festival in Caspian sea’s geozone. In 2020 Inna Sandzhi-Goryaeva was inspirer and curator of contemporary art project - ecological exhibition “Earth. What’s next?” at Astrakhan Kremlin, Astrakhan, Russia.The exhibition was warmly welcomed by media and society. Exhibition was interrupted with lockdown measures. The artist is a founder of independent online gallery "ARTFAIRЯРМАРКА"  (instagramm @russianartists). This online gallery was created to support artists during the pandemy, and currently is an independent platform for online exhibition of art works.
