Iñaki was born in Zumaia, in 1957. He is a self-taught artist. He began painting in oil at the end of 2019 and later, during the confinement due to the pandemic, March 2020, he began to make his works in acrylic. He maintains these techniques, both oil and acrylic, and mixed on canvas, wood, cardboard, methacrylate, ceramic gress, etc. All his works are done with a spatula, although it is also used to paint other utensils such as rigid and elastic strips, pieces cardboard, glass, cards, etc. He works in silence, almost in darkness. His painting is within the Intuitive Abstract Expressionism movement. His works are characterized by color, texture, bold shapes, as well as great movement. His work is done in his studio (IG art studio), located at 17 Carnicería Street in Zumaia (Guipúzcoa, Basque Country).

- Oxford cultural hall in Zumaia (October, 2021) - IG art studio (March-April, 2021) - IG art studio (April, 2022) - Artistic collaboration with other painters worldwide, in a virtual event between the work of art and music. The event, titled "As winter comes", was performed live from New York City (November 2022), with music by composer and pianist Margin Alexander. The musician created an exclusive piece for the work that was presented in the streaming (starting at 7:20) - Portaleburu Erakustokia de Azkoitia (March-April, 2023) - Permanent Sample Exhibition at Flamingo Art Pub in Alcossebre (Castellón) (June 2023 - February 2024) - Oxford cultural hall in Zumaia (August 2023), in artistic collaboration with the painter Juan Carlos Rodríguez, resident in Ciotat (France). - Artistic collaboration in the Artehos 2023 International Contemporary Art Event at Espacio 120 de l'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona (December, 2023) - Collective Exhibition of Artists at the Art Nou 277 Gallery, Barcelona (February 2024)
