Artist's Statement:

I am Ukrainian. I was born and raised in Kyiv.  I now live in Dubai, UAE with her husband, Jonathan and a loving miniature poodle, Joey.  This is my family.

 Throughout my young age, art has always been my passion. I educated myself from noticing art in numerous museums in many countries that I was fortunate to travel to since childhood.

 When I first painted with oils, I experienced a stage of meditation and peace - everything around me stopped.  I felt serenity and calmness through what I was doing.  It has been a great pleasure for me ever since.  My experience in the fashion industry also provides me with a variety of inspiration and artistic ideas.  Prior to my current collection, I created my first collection of oil paintings a decade ago.  These were created for special occasions for my family members and close friends.

 I have recently discovered my passion for sculptures. This is what keeps me busy at this moment.

I call my oeuvre “Queen of Colour”.

 My style is best described as eclectic, vivid & neoteric. The colour game is what you will always notice through my work. I love experimenting with paints and textures. I find deliberate clashes to be a great way to celebrate shades and feel contemporary. Recently, I have been using abstract mixed media techniques with acrylic mediums and oils.

 My creations are conceived from inner experience and the involvement with mysteries of mother nature and the life that surrounds us. My purpose of creating art is to make something that can be appreciated for its aesthetic beauty.
