  • About the Artist

Born in Roanne, lives and works in Chatou.

A graduate of ENSAPC in Paris-Cergy, she was unveiled at the Salon de Montrouge in 2014 and since then has participated in numerous exhibitions, including those of the ADIAF "De notre temps 5 et 6" at the IAC in Villeurbanne and at the Fondation Lambert in Avignon in 2016 and 2019.

She assumes a committed painting on the condition and identity of women where she associates the representation of bodies and faces with extracts of texts borrowed from popular realism in the spirit of feminist literature of Annie Ernaux and Virginie Despentes.

She draws her inspiration from fragments of everyday life that she observes over time in a world that is going badly, in reference to the theses and the universe of the radical left of sociological philosophers Geoffroy de Lagasnerie and Didier Eribon, and the writer Édouard Louis.

By Pierre-Antoine Baubion.

Eva Bergera is a member of the ADAGP.
