Éric Bénard has been a freelance photographer and editor since 1989, after training in economics and Chinese, Éric Bénard works for the press, publishing and corporate. Passionate about oriental cultures and European countries, he casts a gaze on the world that is alternately documentary and poetic. He questions the links that man weaves with his environment, on the rivers, at the university or in the countryside, by favoring the portrait, most often in text and image. Inspired by the universe of writers, filmmakers and painters, it offers an evocation of the spirit of places, between reality and fiction, in Vietnam and Japan as well as in Normandy and Italy.
