  • About the Artist

After attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome he collaborated with the galleries, attracting the attention of critics, exposing the others with Carla Accardi and Enrico Baj, and from 1979 he began his association with Mario Schifano and with the other exponents of the “Scuola of Piazza del Popolo ”Franco Angeli and Tano Festa. His experiments, however, are developing on more personal research paths, expressing themselves through the re-use of images taken from comics. In 1980 he was invited to the exhibition "20 years of signals", where he received the Salvatore Basile award for the tribute to Pino Pascali. From 1982 he opened the studio in San Francisco. In 1988 he returned to Rome to take part in the funeral of Tano Festa to whom he dedicated an exhibition from the provocative title "Pensione Bronsky".

In the early nineties, he set up countless exhibitions in Europe and America.
