"A painting that is born from observation and that through it tries to understand what it sees and learn to survive.

Throughout these last 30 years of total dedication to painting, my pictorial characters, just like my observations, have evolved. The human species continues to surprise me, thousands of years of history have not found the key to happiness and the human being continues to search for it. It seems that not all civilizations, universities or philosophies have managed to free the human being from small miseries such as envy, jealousy, vanity... Society creates canons that if you do not comply with them, they marginalize you. It does not admit what is different, society accepts what is standard. They want to uniform us. For me what is different, what is personal is what deserves special attention. Well, my characters are not handsome, nor young, but they survive this world. Always from the perspective of a woman laughing at myself."
