A lifelong artist, Dominique Gasquet began painting in adolescence and continues to capture the world around her in vibrant sketches. Her passion for visual expression expanded in 2014 when she discovered the art of engraving at Jana Lottenburger's workshop in Bayonne.
Since then, Gasquet has dedicated herself to mastering the diverse techniques of printmaking, from traditional intaglio to contemporary methods. With a commitment to sustainability, she incorporates eco-friendly practices into her work, such as non-toxic engraving.
Her artistic repertoire has recently expanded to include the polymer film technique, pioneered by Henrik Boegh. Gasquet’s work primarily explores themes of animal life, everyday moments, and unique landscapes, often infused with a touch of abstraction.
