"My work is experimental research, I am inspired by everyday life through figurative expression, a revisited academicism. I provoke the imagination and the reminiscence of memories, lost and poetic emotions by matching symbolic subjects with inhabited and mysterious objects. These in their immobile presence and the fixity of their stripping induces a fascination. Still life immerses us in an atmosphere where the components chosen by associations of shapes and climates resonate with each other. Painting is for me the search for an aesthetic emotion. As in the way of naturalists entomologists or botanists, I group by themes and materials the elements that make up my paintings. I use several kinds of supports, cardboard boxes, canvas, tarpaulins... and techniques, acrylic, oil, oil pastel."
