In 1985 he won the 2nd prize at the 43rd international Ceramic Competition in Faenza, Italy. In 1986 he won the Big Prize at the Vallauris Biennale in France. In 1992 he won the first prize at the III International Ceramics Competition in Mino, Japan. Since 1986 he lives and works in Ridaura, near Olot. A basic work is the Monument to the War Defeat from 1939 in Olot
