Camilla Calato was born in Sondrio in 1996.
After the three-year degree in Painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, she attended the two-year photography course at the Mohole professional school in Milan and the darkroom course at the CFI in Naples.
Her interest in combining photography and art stems from her need to express herself as fully as possible. Since 2015, she has been producing storytelling projects with a variety of different media, focusing on evocative and emotional imagery. Camilla uses her sensitivity and her creativity, deriving from her artistic background, to give an absolutely personal touch to the images.
