Born in 1989 Lives and works in Kanazawa (Japan) Born into the Ohi family, a long line of famous ceramists in Japan, Yuki Nara enrolled in her father's, Ohi Chozaemon XI, and her grandfather, Ohi Chozaemon X, distinguished as National Living Treasure: all three tirelessly explore how they can create contemporary ceramics. For that, Yuki even graduated from Japan's most prestigious architecture university, seeking to use the latest architectural modelling tools in the traditional family-made manufacturing process. Yuki Nara is at the forefront of a light, transparent, poetic ceramic.
