  • About the Artist
Véronique Ellena, born July 13, 1966 in Bourg-en-Bresse1, is a French photographer and visual artist. She lives and works in Paris. After a Bachelor's degree in visual arts and a first year at the National School of Art of Nancy and Dijon, Véronique Ellena joined the National School of Visual Arts of Cambre in Brussels in the photography section headed by Gilbert Fastenaekens. She completed this training with a post-diploma at the National School of Fine Arts in Nantes. Winner of numerous prizes and residences, she is a resident of la Villa Médicis in 2007-2008. In 2015, winner of a competition organized by the Ministry of Culture, Véronique Ellena realizes the stained glass of the millennium of the Cathedral Notre-Dame of Strasbourg with the master glassmaker Pierre-Alain Parot. On February 4, 2016, she received the Bressane d'Honneur Trophy 2015, awarded by the Académie de la Bresse in Bourg-en-Bresse.
