  • About the Artist
Kwangwoo Han was born in 1980 in Seoul, South Korea. He attended Chung-Ang University, where he first completed the two major sculpture and Chinese language. He continues his studies at the Graduate School at Kook-Min University in Seoul where he graduated from the Master in Art EducaLon in 2009. The thesis of the thesis is "A Study on the Teaching Method of Expressing the Details of Future Oriented Self Relief". Subsequently, in 2015, he obtained a second degree degree in Sculpture at the Belle ArL Academy in Brera. The thesis of the thesis is "Theories of Public Art in Research: Propaganda". There are several exhibitions of his own sculpture work, both in Korea and in Italy. Among the personal exhibitions are reminded at the Castello Dal Verme di Zava [Pavia's "AnLEquilibrium" arena in 2016 and the City Art space of Milan "Movement for self-reproduce" in 2014. In 2013 at The K gallery in Seoul, "Sulla road "and in 2012" Atomic project - light shadow "at Gallery Palais de Seoul and Atomic society at the Cyart Gallery, both in Seoul, and in the same year" Atomic Sculpture "at Dongtan Art Space in Hwa-Seong. There are several exhibitions in Korea and Europe, one of the most popular in 2012, "Kunstart Fair for emerging contemporary art in Bolzano" and "Contemporary Art Ruhr" in Zollverein, Essen, Germany in 2011. He also participates in several competitions, amongst the most recalled, in 2016 at the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art in Korea for the proge [or "Space Discover". In the same year he is finalist at the "4th CRAMUM Award" in Milan. He is among the selectors at the "9th ART LAGUNA Art Prize" in Venice, exhibiting at the Arsenal Tassels in 2015. In 2013 it is selected for CULTURE STATION 284 PUBLIC PROJECT- "Hospitality" organized in Seoul station; is finalist in the sculpture competition "Antonio Canova 4º ed." at Villa Rizzardi, in Verona and in "YOUTH SCULPTORS AT THE PERMANENT", the first edition of the competition "LILIANA NOCERA".
