Born in Jerusalem in 1981. His breakthrough as a Palestinian artist happened in 2010, while detained in an Israeli political prison. He painted a greeting card as a response to Picasso in Palestine and had it delivered to the exhibition organizer at the time, Khaled Hourani.  The card was later printed and circulated widely as part of the Picasso in Palestine project.
