My work is rooted in the play of texture and harmonious variations in color, while the trace of gesture reveals form and meaning. This process, dictated by my emotional potential, is unique to me.
My painting aims to coexist the constant inner turmoil that drives me with the rigor and precision that so characterize me. I consider my works finished only if they achieve this sought-after balance. Abstraction enables this deconstruction of reality, the aim being to keep only a composition that appeals to our perceptions, our emotions and our own feelings.
The viewer becomes an actor in the construction of a singular reality. The choice of formats, supports and mediums is not fixed. I don't want to belong to any category or fit into any box; I'm resolutely in relief. Made up of heightened emotions, imbalances, anxieties, constant introspection, paradoxes, too much, too little, sometimes emptiness... but I'm free now, and so is my art.
