Ana Sluga was born in Ljubljana in 1981. She graduated from the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts (ALUO) and continued her Master's studies at The Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts and Design and the Estonian Academy of Arts (Eesti Kunstiakadeemia) in Tallinn, Estonia. In 2025, the University of Ljubljana awarded her for her outstanding artistic work. She has been working as an independent artist ever since 2007. Her works have been presented at individual and selected exhibitions both at home and internationall.
