Alice Zilberberg is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning artist, who was born in the former Soviet Union. After, she was raised in Israel and she moved to Canada. Currently, she lives in Tel Aviv. She graduated at Ryerson University in photography. Inititally, she started her artistic practice by painting. By the time, she developed her own original technique for her digital paintings, where photography is only the beginning of the final artwork. In order to create original artworks, she often travel across the globe, to catch and record astonishing and differrent backgrounds and elements. Her images reveal metaphors and symbolism, in particular regarding nature, the human condition, and emotionality.
Her work has been exhibited in several galleries and museums worldwide, next to renowned artists such as Ansel Adams, and Imogen Cunningham. She has been interviewed and featured in publications and platforms such as MTV, Breakfast Television, and CBC.
She received the Hasselblad Masters award, as well as 1st place titles in competitions such as the International Photography Awards, the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards, and the Fine Art Photography Awards.
