Alexander Vinogradov was born in Moscow in 1964. Graduated from Moscow State Art Institute named after Surikov in 1991. He is an ex-member of a duo of Vinogradov & Dubosarsky (1994-2016), famous for large-scale figurative paintings expressing wild and kitsch tastes of Russian society in 1990-s. Vinogradov’s solo shows include Citta Ideale (curator Arie-Amaya Akkermans) at Galerie Iragui, Moscow; Space-Time Continuum at Triumph gallery, Moscow; 1+1 (with Maria Pogorzhelskaya) at VP Studio in Moscow. Lives and works in Milan
