Artist duo. 

Albert Pinya – Palma de Mallorca, 1985.

Albert Pinya lives and works in Palma, he is like an enfant terrible. The Albert’s poetics is simple, but energetic and dynamic. Through drawings, painting, sculptures and installations he creates imaginary scenery full of figures and colors… the Pinya’s Universe. He takes from films, series TV, cartoons the flair to make his art works.

We won the Medal of Honor BMW Award 2016; the Arco Madrid Prize from the Spanish Association of Critics. In 2007 he received the First Prize of the Art Jove, Illes Balears program and was selected by the Italian curator Achille Bonito Oliva to be part of the exhibition No more going on, The game’s on, at the Vostell-Malpartida Museum, Cáceres, Spain.

In 2008, he started to work into the international scene with exhibitions in Spain and Europe, China, America.

In recent years, he has participated in exhibitions such as Panta Rei. Towards a new paradigm at the Pelaires Contemporary Cultural Center (Palma de Mallorca, Spain); Hybridizations: the ghost of painting curated by Susana Sanz in the White Box in Beijing, China; Recent Works curated by Gianluca Ranzi at the MAC-Museo d’Arte Contemporanea di Lissone, Monza, Italy; Micrografts (Bypass) curated by Tolo Cañellas at Es Baluard Museum of Contemporary Art, Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Seen and not seen in Baleares curated by Lorena Martínez de Corral in Matadero, Madrid, Spain; Lost in Chaos curated by Rossella Farinotti at the Palazzo delle Stelline, Milan, Italy; Proud to be a painter curated by Alberto Zanchetta at the gallery Allegra Ravizza, Lugano, Switzerland.

He was a special guest artist at the 19th edition of the Hausacher Leselenz Poetry Festival curated by the poet José F. A. Oliver, Hausach, Germany in 2016.

Laurina Paperina – Rovereto, 1980

Laurina Paperina is an Italian artist who lives between Italy and Duckland, a small town in the Universe. She completed her studies at the ‘Institute of Art’ in Rovereto and at the ‘Fine Arts Academy’ in Verona, Italy. She paints, draws, creates installations and video animations.

Working predominantly with the imaginary of contemporary heroes, her works reference contemporary pop culture and the 1980s and ‘90s eras of her childhood. Paperina has over the past years created artwork especially inspired by the Art World that present an ironic commentary in response to current events.
