Alain-Jacques's artistic work is based on the use of a blue pigment whose density generates an iridescent light. He made an equation out of it. The square, like a head, imposed itself as the only possible drawing of this vertiginous revelation. It is the permanent unknown.
The books will have allowed him to think of this blue as writing. Their materiality, their scriptural dimension, the words and the texts, constitute the means of deepening the subject. In this repetitive process, poetry and science resonate as variables.
Between matter and light, between surface and depth, this blue ended up impregnating itself like vertigo on the bottom of my eye. It gave him the possibility to see his invisible world.
