Ajay's art practice is an expression of his experiences and surroundings. It involves a subtle transformation of the surrounding elements into his memories and experiences of a place through the architectural and natural spheres, trying to create a space that amalgamates a new perspective of seeing things and perceiving them. Clay is Ajay's main medium to work with as it is also a representation of his surroundings and household.
Ajay belongs to Maharashtra. He is currently pursuing a PHD in Ceramics from Shantiniketan and he completed his MFA in Ceramics and Glass Design from Shantiniketan in 2017. He attended JJ School of Art and finished his BFA in 2013.
