Adjacy Gomes dos Santos Filho was born in Natal (RN), in 1967. After a few years, he moved to Brasília (DF) to study. In 1986, he moved to Recife (PE), where he still lives.
He started in the art world using the pen and ink. Later, he adopted brushes, paints and canvases, being self-taught in painting and having as main teachers the observation of nature and everyday life, artistic practice, reading art books and, mainly, the use of imagination and sensitivity in his works.

He recently participated in the following collectives, in Recife: at the AACD headquarters building, at the Federal Court (2001) and at Shopping Plaza (PE) (2002). His most recent solo shows were at the Legislative Assembly (2001), at the Catholic University of Pernambuco (2007), both in Recife, and at the Espaço Cultural Incra (2008), in Brasília.
He was awarded third place in the Sebrae Pernambuco contest: A Passion for Football (2012), at Espaço Cultural Santander, in Recife.
