1UP Crew

The 1UP crew is a graffiti collective that was formed in Berlin-Kreuzberg in 2003. They are currently the most famous graffiti collective in Europe and one of the best graffiti groups in the world. The group's fame has grown over the past 10 years, not least because of their well-documented exploits on YouTube. With their classic style, they fully embody a culture that started in New York in the 1970s. One of their peculiarities is the secrecy surrounding the identity of their members. It is not known how many members there are, nor are their names known. In fact, in their nocturnal forays into the city, stations and train depots, all the members work together to write the name of the crew and hardly ever deal with individual projects. 1UP stands for One United Power. They are among the leading representatives of European writing, which has its capital in Berlin. Many of their actions are illegal, from 2003 to 2017 they received over 300 complaints. They are currently active and known worldwide, having exported their art to all continents.
